I can live with this weather, maybe even a little hotter. Anything has to be better than last summer.

The gnats are out in force at dusk after our non-winter. And CHIGGERS out in the long grass this early is unusual.

Thankfully you can still buy DDT.

Winter does not kill out bugs/insects. Look to the deep-freeze, harsh winter-weather state of Alaska to always have an abundant amount of bugs/insects, including gazillions of mosquitoes in 35 species.

DDT was banned in the U.S. in 1972...

Yeah this weather is still OK, but it's only May. We're probably heading towards another monster summer.
