Being Indian you will fit right in here in Valley Ranch. Being Indian and a single mom maybe you can answer that question for yourself. Not sure how that is looked upon in your own culture but I know the rest of us could care less! I do notice that I see nothing but Indian couples and families here. I have no doubt that there are single moms of other races here as well. So bottom line walk with your head up and be proud. You are a DENTIST!! : )

You'll be fine. Nobody will judge you unless it's other Indians. I don't know your culture enough in that respect. There are so many single parents around here now that people don't really give it a second thought.

Hi, I am also a single mom (with five yr old son,BA in English education and a certificate in medical records. Planning to move from Puerto Rico and provide my son with a better future) with Dallas as a moving option also. But i'm from Puerto Rico, would it be all that good for me too? I also have questions on the prices of the houses theyare extremly affordable... Why?? compared to other states it is hard to believe, i 've been searching on the net and i would like to know more about: Mcbroom Street and Hollow Creek Drive in Dallas, are these kid friendly, safe low crime places or not? any information on nice towns, would help. Thank You

you may want to concentrate more on the surrounding areas. Also one warning, yes, property is very affordable but property taxes are very high.
Don't worry about being from Puerto Rico, the Dallas area is very diversified. You will do just fine.

Those streets look like they are in West Dallas and Seagoville? Nope. I wouldn't live in either area.
