we went east and went through the Vicksburg battlefield on one trip--saw a confederate gunboat pulled from the MS in special exhibit--our son loved it--our daughter and her friend traveling with us were less than impressed--to this day, when we talk about that vacation all the girls says is "yeah, when we did the war thing"
