And very glad to hear it! It seems like it would be both beneficial and easy for the seminary to take a prominent role in the community there.
Thanks for the concern, I really appreciate it. Physical therapy takes a lot out of you, unfortunately.

This actually seems like a pretty cool little shop. I will have to check it out when it opens.

Yeah, I thought it sounded like a good idea. Hopefully, it is successful.

Is there any word on expected wage levels for this plant?

On the one hand, they could probably get away with paying $12/hour and people in the Dayton area would probably line up.

On the other hand, they could pay top tier wages like the Japanese auto plants do.

SWOH should look into it. They mentioned that they studied Chinese. That oght to get you in the door. 你好!

After you get in, you can help me get a job there. I could walk to work from where my mom used to live .

I'll jump in here - yes, I do, but I have no clue how to get the characters to work on here. Blame my computer illiteracy.

ID gave me an amazing response and tips via DM.

As for writing characters, there are a variety of websites to help out (that's what I used to get those in here). My personal favorite, Nciku, was shut down a couple months ago... hoping it will come back. It allowed you to draw Chinese characters with you mouse, and then it provided suggestions for the character you were trying to draw until you clicked on the correct one.

Otherwise, I downloaded an extension from Google on my old laptop that switched the keyboard to Chinese... so you'd type the pinyin and it would provide characters in response. So if I were to type n, 你 would pop up.
