I fell a few years back and it's bothered me on and off. I don't think anyone really knows anything about anything anymore.... I have build up and sometimes when they remove it, it leaves a hole that messes with the cuff . He said he will just have to see when he gets there.

I get the shots but they don't last and it just HURTS all the time now. I welcome the surgery, just not the recovery. But that's ok, nothing will keep me down for long.

Physical Therapy will be very important in your healing process.

When I had my stroke, I fell against a plate glass window and, among other things, tore my rotator cuff. After the emergency stroke surgery they couldnt do the rotator cuff surgery for four months and I was in a lot of pain all that time. So I can sympathize with your suffering for so long.

Be glad, Glory..be very glad. The only time people know about them is when they have problems.

WOW....I had a loooooong couple of days at work! There were a couple of times I almost wanted to go home anyway....but I hung in there and it WAS financially rewarding. With the current economy, you have to make the money when it is available to be made.

I still kept my grandson last night. Does anyone remember the older kids movie 'Fern Gulley'??? They had it for sale at KMart for $5. He just LOVED it and we both fell asleep watching it last night. I'm going to take him home....then have the rest of the day to goof around online!!

Group Hug for Wurzig.............
Oh yes, we loved Fern Gully! We still have it.... Another favorite was Brave Little Toaster.... And of course we had every Disney movie out there.....and every Pooh..... And those little dinosaurs....there were several of those.....it's a series.....we loved those, too. I think they are Land Before Time Part 1, 2, 3 and probably all the way to Part 8 or so....

When you have an injury, it hurts like hell......

My girl was one of the top swimmers in a school with over 3,000 kids......she always won....very strong... At the end of her sophomore year, she tore both of them during a race, one worse than the other....that ended her swimming career..... We spent all junior year in physical therapy trying to avoid an operation...... When she raises her arms above her head, (say, to get something off of a shelf), she has to do it slowly and a certain way in order not to cause more pain......for the rest of her life.....

Before the p/t, she went for various testing......I think it was an MRI that day.....they stuck a huge needle in her shoulder in order to insert some dye......it paralyzed it.....afterwards, she couldn't even reach over to buckle her seat belt or take her bra off for a few days...I had to wash her hair for her in the shower....it was unbelievable....her arm just kinda 'hung' at her side..... Both were injured, but they only did one at a time......we soon found out why since she couldn't even move her arm afterwards... My kid is so brave with doctor stuff.....but it just about killed me.....

It's the thing that make your arm go round, arm go round, thing that makes your arm go round... wait, that's a song.

You, my girl, have a guardian angel. Maybe I can borrow 'em for a few hours next week? I have one of my own but it never hurts to be prepared.
