It's DONE!! Finally got us a house. Just wanted to let the good folks here on C-D know that another darn Yankee is coming down! After a long search and some disappointments, we saw a great house the first day it was on the market, made a strong offer and it was accepted same day! I took a good friends advice and didn't screw around with any lowball offers on what was obviously a mint looking house in a nice neighborhood. I do eventually learn my lessons, it just takes some time!

Anyway, we are not closing for at least 2, maybe 3 months(sellers request), which works out fine since we are not ready to move yet. The hard part is done, the wife is happy, which means I AM HAPPY, and you all will have a new neighbor in the near future. Now, I will still root for my Yankees and Giants, and I know I will still talk too fast and too loud, but we both promise to embrace the De. lifestyle as best we can.

Next step...start saving money for all the speeding tickets I KNOW I am going to get.

Glad things worked out so well for you. It is not easy looking for a home in another state. Hope you have many happy years in it.
