Hello all,
I am moving to Denver on 3/19/12. I no nothing about the area or even where I'll be working when I get there. (personal circumstance) I want to rent a studio apt for just 1-3 months, until I get work and know my way around. Don't really care what town it's in, as long as it's within 25 mi of Denver proper. Anyone out there know a) where I can get a very short term or month to month lease? and 2) which areas I should DEFINITELY stay away from? (I'm a female living alone; want a safe area)
Any input you have will be most appreciated!

P.S Any thoughts on which quadrant is the more desirable to live in? (walkability, safety, etc)

Use PadMapper and then tell us what you are thinking about.

If you want something short term, check out the roomshares and the sublets forums on craigslist, and start sending out emails now for places you might be interested in. A lot of people rent out their basement or extra rooms in their house. I've done it before and would recommend it. Be smart about who your roommates are, of course.
