As someone who is not a native Californian and moved out here in 2007, I think In and Out is horrible. Tried it once. Undercooked, greasy, got VERY sick. Threw up about a half hour afterwards. Never again!

I agree, I don't see the appeal at all in In N Out. Just moved from CO to CA and I've had it maybe 3 times and the 3rd time a couple weeks ago was the last time for me. There just is nothing special to the burger, fries are supposed to be so great and fresh cut but they were far from great. I'm aware of their "secret" menu but I think it would better serve them to not have a secret menu when the regular one looks so limited. Steak N Shake that recently opened in Denver is far better IMO.

In-n-out sucks. I used to eat there all the time when I lived in PHX, LA, and Reno, until I finally saw the light. Tasteless, thin, greasy, overcooked pieces of meat, and lousy fries. There are a lot of great California chains that I wish we had (or had more of), but In-n-out is not one of them.

Mmmm, I went there when it was in Chandler and it actually wasn't as greasy as I expected. I love the fry bar and real Coke too! My brother ate the quadruple bypass and got wheeled out on the wheelchair, said he felt great! I guess I will have to go next time I am in Vegas...

In N Out got old for me pretty fast, it's decent but not the greatest. I would much rather have Good Times or Whataburger.

Nothing bad about Good Times, although I'm not a fan of the foil-wrapped idea.

Whataburger might as well be called Saltaburger.

Actually that place looks kind of fun. But no way in hell would I ever want go there. If I eat a burger, I want a good one, and that is not it.

You might be surprised! The lard really elevates the taste of the beef and fries
