There's a nice Chinese restaurant with excellent food called The Mandarin in Farmington Hills in a small plaza on the southwest corner of Orchard Lake and 13 Mile. I'm pretty sure it's my family's favorite restaurant. We also like The Border Cantina which offers large portions of good Mexican food (Novi Road south of 8 or 9 Mile).
