Any weight loss is a tremendous boost. Good going. The exercise really does help. I know, because that is the prime method for me to lose. And feel better. I am not that enthused about doing any form of exercise. I find it boring, but it must be done. When the weather is not quite so hot, I will resume my walking.

Now that I like...

Congrats on the weight loss, whoooo hooooo!!! But Sunny, 112 ??? That is very, very thin for someone so tall. I am 5'7" and weigh 130, size 5-6 and I am skinny. You will be a stick at 112. They don't make clothes smaller than size 0 But I know when people tell me I'm thin, and I don't, it's because we all have to live in our own bodies and what we see if differnt than what everyone else sees. Yes Karla makes me feel guilty everyday!!! Everyday I don't exercise I hear her voice

Anyway, way to go, exercise is great for all of us regardless of our goal, mine is just to live longer!!

Sunny,
Congrats on your weight loss but isn't that too thin for somebody thats 5' 9"?
I'm 5'8" and couldn't imagine myself that small.
Don't go too far with it. Exercise is the best thing to do though.

Default Bee Sting

Sunday morning I got stung by a bee, I immediatly put a penny on it and the pain went away in about 30 seconds and never returned but now, it's been 48 hours my arm around the sting is still swollen and a bit feverish. The swollen area is 4 inches by 3 inches it itches something fearse.

I've never been stung in 51 years, is this a normal reaction to a bee sting? I called my doctors office and the nurse told me over the phone that it was normal but my boss who's son is allergic suggest that it's not normal and I may be a bit allergic.

Can anyone with experience to bee stings give me an idea of the norm for a bee sting?

5'9 and 112#? Did you type that correctly? I'm the same height and I used to weigh 113# - I was EXTREMELY thin, like stick arms and hip bones sticking out. Is there a reason you've picked 112? For me, 128 is more ideal.

112 pounds and youre 5'9"?!?!? that's REALLY skinny... and unhealthy. If you want to as thin as possible, I'd say 125-130 pounds is ideal and still be healthy. But 135 is healthy and normal/slender for a 5'9" and the average weight is about 160.
