Were you counting your calories? Did you or do you have a higher body fat percentage? I had to start out on low carb too but it changed after I got to a healthy weight and lower body fat. So I was just curious if that was your case too.

I like Oro Wheat sandwich rounds. They have 100 calories and 100% Whole wheat with 17 g of net carbs. I also like Hummus for a good snack. I buy mine at Costco, but you can make it at home.

I suspect good, fresh seafood is pretty difficult to find in your location, so maybe Tuna, canned Salmon & Crab might be a way to get some high- quality protien into your diet.

Tuna stuffed hard boiled eggs, Salmon patties, Crab Bisque are a few low-carb ideas that come to mind.
