I really enjoyed the book and loved that nearly every sentence in it was cited with a study supporting it. It definitely motivated me to make some changes and it has been really easy to do so far. Also, part of why I am recommending that book in particular is that he does not require you to spend a lot of time exercising, which is kind of nice if you don't love to do it. I personally hate working out and just want to get exercise in as efficiently as I can and get on with my day.

I liked this book as well. And there were some simple approaches in the book that are easy to adopt.

Yeah, it has worked really well for me so far. I don't feel deprived; in fact, this is the easiest lifestyle change I've ever made. I gave up wheat last November, then sorta transitioned into a primal/paleo type thing, so I've slowly been getting used to life without grains. I put SSoS into action on Monday and I've lost 4.4 pounds this week. That is a HUGE loss for me. What's also amazing is that the only exercise I've done all week is what he recommends, so I've spent less than 30 minutes exercising. I did the weight training Tuesday and the cardio today. I really hope that things continue to go this way because this is the easiest weight loss I've ever had.
