Thanks for the help y'all!
I respectfully disagree but i was shown to be really anemic and b12 deficient and since I've started the B12 shots, I have way more energy, my gums and eyes aren't pale (or I guess my eyes were too white?) and my blood tests are no longer showing I'm anemic. Plus the B12 shots are only $10. lol
Who you foolin'? There is no fooling us CD Health/Fitness experts. Just be honest, you started taking those B12 shots because someone told you it helps for weight loss. If you are eating as you say "super healthy" you would be getting all the B12 you need from your nutritional intake. Scrap the B12 shots and take that money and spend it on a personal trainer or better yet, some new running shoes and the NikePlus running program on you iPhone. B12 is a bunch of super baloney that you do not need.
lol I started taking them because I was anemic? If you read carefully, I said I'm eating super healthy now, I said I ate absolutely terrible before. I think the alcohol had a lot to do with it. I do think that my anemia probably went away mostly because I'm eating better, but I didn't start eating better and having energy to work out until after I started getting the B12 shots.
And I'm not fat? My recent heavy weight is ~122lbs and I'm 5'5". I said I lost 2 lbs, so now I'm ~120. So no, I didn't start taking it to lose weight.
If you can get me a personal trainer for $10 a month, I'm all over it

Perhaps you're referring to pernicious anemia. Anemia (without the qualification) is low red blood cell count as a result of an iron deficiency, not B12 deficiency. Taking B12 shots are not a treatment for anemia. They are only a treatment for pernicious anemia. Also, if you have pernicious anemia, the standard treatment would be to improve your diet, and get one shot B12 monthly. Eventually you would likely be able to take high-dose B12 oral supplements, and not need a shot at all anymore.

You're right, I just had a test on pernicious anemia in my animal nutrition lab and B12 was one of the supplements lol I like the shots for some reason, I'm really bad at remembering to take vitamins daily!
I just take a regular daily multivitamin. Seems to do the trick for me.
