When taking away many of the different foods I had been eating, I obviously also added a lot of other foods in.
I started eating breakfast and lunch where I had not been before. I also began eating things such as almonds, avocados, olives, things of that nature. I added lots of different kinds of seeds to my salad when I eat it and have removed the croutons.
I add ground flaxseed to a few different things and when we go out to eat, I try and choose something like salmon over a steak.
You can choose to stop reading it but I am not going to stop posting in it at your say so. Are you telling me that animal fat is the same as the fat from nuts or something like avocados?
I eat very little oil, no margarine or butter, but I do eat avocados, organic tofu, nuts and a wide varity of seeds (every day), humus (which does have olive oil in it), flax meal and whole flax seeds, and occasionally small amounts of cheese. Very few animal products.

I eat a lot of the same things. I do eat beef once every 1-2 weeks, but for the most part I eat fish or chicken. A lot of the times just vegetables. Hummus is such a good thing.... =)
I eat eggs a lot. People think they are too high in cholesterol but I do well with them both in how they make me feel and how they fill me for low calories.
Of course there are, open any nutrition textbook and there will be a section on them, the human body requires both omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. They are an essential part of the diet....where as the other fats can be synthesized by the body.

Indeed. Surely, Guyton and Hall must mention something about essential fatty acids being absolutely required for human survival?
