I did not witness any weight loss via green tea either. I tried red tea instead and noticed weight loss. The weight loss will come via the detoxing of your body. You can do this quick online detox quiz and see if that's your issue. https://bit.ly/2sAceo1
I don't like the taste of green tea. To me it tastes like gin I prefer lemon tea, chai tea, or black currant tea. Bigelow and Twinnings are my favorites. I'm not sure about the health benefits of green tea but the health benefits of losing weight vastly outnumber those of green tea. Oh, and one other thing. Loose tea is ridiculously expensive compared to bagged tea unless you drink enough tea to float a ship, especially if you shop at Teavana. That place is the Starbucks of tea shops.
LOL I agree with you about green tea, though I do like most jasmine teas (not all jasmine teas are made from green teas). Green teas tend to upset my stomach and I SURE can't drink them on an empty stomach.
I LOVE Constant Comment tea by Bigelow. And it's cheap!
Teas are a part of my diet (not diet PLAN - just the way I eat) but it's mainly because I like sipping on a cup of tea in the evenings. It feels like a special little ritual to me.
Tea will only help anyone lose weight if it replaces something fattening that they may have been eating or drinking. For instance, a cup of tea has fewer calories than a glass of wine or a soda.
I would go with an organic matcha green tea. Matcha green tea is supposed to be more beneficial then steeped green tea. Something to do with the way its processed. Brand of choice: Jade Leaf - Organic Japanese Matcha Green Tea Powder
