Ugh...sorry but consuming MORE food in a world that can't support the life that is here already is not the viable way of the future. Those thin pics in this thread are PHOTO-SHOPPED. If you overeat even without getting morbidly obese you are setting yourself up for diabetes and heart disease. Also all those plus size models are photoshopped to shave away shapes that are really there in the real world. To expect a regular everyday women to look like a plus size model is stupid. It does not look like that in real life either! Also you don't have to starve to be 125 and 5'11''. You just have to always watch what you eat and workout. And all these skinny models are kids 14-21. So good job you real women for teasing kids. LOL
I wouldn't say 23.1 is considered "slim". It might be considered average. This doesn't mean Tyra is advocating being a size 12 or 14 and 5'4" or having a BMI in the overweight range.
Anyway, Tyra is part of the problem. She is part of the media world, she's someone who is fascinated with celebrity culture. I recommend stop listening to any celebrities about what you should do, including Tyra Banks. At least the models are keeping their mouth shut. They aren't telling you to be skinny like them. You're the one who is influenced by it, just like you are being influenced by Tyra right now. I don't see many guys worrying that they don't look like male models (though I'm sure there are some that do).
