I just keep a little hand shovel tucked along the edge of the house and if I spot poo, I just shovel it up and fling it over. I always pick up after my dog, but somehow flinging s##t gives me a little lift, so I wouldn't think of complaining.
That is sooooo funny. Maybe I should get a special poo-flinging shovel and giggle on the inside every time I toss it back into their yard

LOL - I was wondering if it was you I like that she actually took the "clean up after your dogs" sign and put it up on the neighbor's patio. Too funny!

This unfortunate situation happens all too often in city neighborhoods. We used to live in a very upscale neighborhood where everyone owned a dog. Most dogs were walked on leash. However, the doctor at the end of the road seemed to enjoy walking his dog down to our house and allowing (perhaps even ecouraging?) his dog to leave it's calling card on our front lawn. No doubt who it was--we caught him in the act but he just ignored us. This guy was just a truly arrogant so and so. I bought this citrus scented crystal stuff that repells dogs and sprinkled in around the perimeter of the yard--it worked but it was a pain to do because the repellant would wash away when it rained --and it rains a lot in Seattle.

I walk other peoples small (really small) dogs from time to time, but the dog poop thang gets old really, really fast. You should see the small condos in Vancouvers' west end that have two large dogs (matching, of course) and a young couple, and no yard. I can't believe any relationship could last that scenario.

And it's coming your way, Seattle. The pathways under the transit are literally green with veggie based dog crap. Ah, the smell of dog poop in the morn.
