She looks quite a bit like a dog I adopted that the shelter called "Terrier Mix". I have subsequently thought the terrier part might be pit bull....but not sure of that at all...her face is much more pointed and perhaps delicate than the pitties, sometimes I think the "mix" might be shepherd....other times greyhound...(she is incredibly fast)....other times ridgeback....she has a very pronounced response of "getting her back up" when alert or excited....
Whatever you have a very handsome dog and if she is as loyal and loving and trusting and gentle as mine......you have a friend for life.
Yeah, I have a pittie now and I don't se any of that in her. My best guess would be Gt. Dane (I've owned 2 of them) and German Shepard (I've owned one).
Look up Dutch Shepherd as your pup does look alot like one and they do come in that beautiful brindle. There is a young one at the dog park we go too and I will look in my files as I think I have a photo of her that I will post later. She is one beautiful pup !
Just looked up Dutch Shepherd too, looks just like her. It's always nice to have an indication of breed to know certain traits.
Had I know my Sophie was an English Shepherd I would have understood her stubborn streak and her need to always be at my side. She was seven before I found an English Sheperd site and it all clicked.
