I told my friend that's what I suspected. Then she said, "no, she's a terrier." I had to explain it to her.

She's not that deep into dog breeds. LOL

I used to live in a run down neighbor hood myself just so I could keep my pets . The Landlady she was so cool . If she had not passed I probably would have still been living there . Her son raised my rent when he took over and could no longer afford to live there , but still managed to find another rental that took pets . I really do hope that at some other point in his life he gets to keep a pet and raise it .

Depending on how big the town where the little boy took his pet dog to the police station, it would be neat if the new pet owner(?) could locate the boy and maybe connect by sending photos and updates on the dog. Sometimes certain shelters or rescues will offer a 'foster' option until the family can find a place to live that allows pets.

My guess is a scottish terrier/schnauser mix, or maybe a little airdale terrier/schnauser.

I agree about the yorkie. The first pic she sent me, the face looked very yorkie. When she sent me the body shot, THEN I saw the schnauzer.

Probably Terrier mix, maybe Yorky. Check out the teeth, if they look large for the size of the dog, Terrier for sure.

Good lookin' Beagle.

I adopted a senior dog who's family lost their home to foreclosure and were moving into rental housing.

Someday, I'd like to find their new landlord and bitchslap that MF a good time or two.
