Mr Sumo has 2; one isn't even what you would call a washable, but we spong it off from time to time. It is a little rubber froggy that used to squeek. We paid an entire $1 for it, about 4 years ago. He carries it all over, will tear up the bed if he thinks it might be hidden under the covers and when we come home from a day out he greets us with it. His other, is a washable bone that is soft and fun for him. He will play with it from time to time, but it isn't the same as Mr Froggy!!!!!
Small Squeaky Squirrel. Can't seem to buy them anywhere any more. When I found them, I would buy 6-8 at a time. Had to compete with every other toy dog owner in the country. When the word went out that Small Squeaky Squirrels were available, everybody rushed in to order.
I could never figure out why the company that made them didn't increase production, They could have made 100 times the number and sold them all. You'd think they would have noticed the high demand.
Didn't address the washing issue. I put them into net bags to launder so they didn't go down the drain. I am down to my very last precious Small Squeaky Squirrel and I am dreading its demise.

Have you looked to see if they have them on Amazon?
Jimmy's was Hedgie the Hedgehog. Can't bear to look at Hedgie now, but I can't throw him away either. He also used to have a George W. Bush Fatcat toy. That thing was hilarious.

My three dogs LOVE plush toys and almost constantly have one in their mouth. They carry them around and always bring one outside into the yeard with them. Unfortunately, they don't usually bring them back in. Thus, my yard looks like a toy box exploded and I wash a whole load of dog toys every other week. When I pull the load out of the dryer and into the basket, they all dance around me and wag their tails like I am carrying their most prized posessions. When I empty the basket into their toy bins, it's like giving them brand new toys. They are ecstatic!
