The one I'm petting at the moment is a pretty good answer. And you can't beat a good old mutt. But time after time, year after year, the pit bulls at our shelter win my heart. It's been terribly hard to only bring two of them home.

We have borzoi and a french bulldog. Borzoi, then scottish deerhounds and whippets are my favorites. We love our french bulldog, but will never own another. I like a dog that can get out and run.

My favorite dogs? Easy they are MY dogs, silly!!! The ones at my feet

Some of my favorite breeds, wow...how much time and space do I get? Pits are so smart, clowns, loving and loyal. Am Bulldogs for the same reasons. Mastiffs (all types) are majestic and just incredible...for so many reasons. English bulldogs are just so darn cute!

...and then there are mutts...who knows their genetic markers (and really who cares) they are wonderful, loving dogs, that come into our lives and steal our hearts!

...So, I tend to lean toward the "bullies" BUT they are ALL my favorites!!!

I love them all. Today I have Shih Tzus and they are great. My other all time favorite is the Kerry Blue, I've had 2 of them, and really would like to have another.

wow, there are so many, but I am the one that voted: English Springer Spanial. The are among the smartest dogs, love to run but also adjust well to apartment living, have great personalities and are a perfect size. THe only negative might be the shedding and that is pretty much spring only. Shih Tzus are cute, very lovable, fun but not the smartest in the world and they can be very stubborn. How do I know? We have one....

I can think of more favorite breeds than not favorite. All dogs can be wonderful if trained right and exposed to the world...

My little girl...(American Bulldogs are the best...) who, after successful surgery is watching me type this now.

I, like LoveABull, love the "bullie" breeds and have owned Rottweilers, Pit Bulls, an English Mastiff, English Bulldog and even a few Mutts.
I bought my wife an American Bulldog 15 years ago and its been nothing but ever since...
