A favorite toy that is whether or not the favored one is technically his/her toy or not??

One of our dogs absolutely loves this stuffed camel that is not one of his toys. If we're gone or just really distracted he will quietly go upstairs and get camel to play with. He never harms camel in any way so we don't mind too much.

My TFT, who now lives in oregon, is a Disney fan. She has a Disney toy collection that includes the Mickey she's had since she was 10 weeks old (goes everywhere with her) and a 4' tall Minnie along with several other Disney characters. She will actually choose Disney character toys over other toys most of the time. And she never destroys those toys.

What about your dogs?

I have only had one dog that had a favorite toy that was Jazz. Jazz was a toy **** but there was one she loved to sleep with and carry around more then the others and that was Pig Boy. My mom gave it to her when she was a puppy and at 14.5 when I had to put her down she still had pig boy , he had no holes in him and he still squeaked. He was a stuffed toy that had a pigs head but a human body dressed as a construction worker thus we called him Pig Boy. I still have Pig Boy as he holds so many memories of her that I have not been able to toss him or let Chaos and Daz destroy him

With Daz and Chaos their favorite toy is the one the other one has at any given moment!

Caesar has the braided rope type toys, anything else he destroys, even the "tough" material toys.
He has about 20 of them (no, I'm not kidding) and he rotates which ones he chews on.....

Nanners has no interest in toys, unless live prey that she can kill is considered a toy. (I TOLD my neighbor lady she'd lose some hens if she allowed them to peck around in Nanners' yard, and that's what happened)

Every dog client I ever had LOVES this Hide A Squirrel toy. Mostly the squirrels LOL.

ONE DOG, a Rat Terrier, was the only one who LOVED trying to put the squirrels back INTO the tree trunk!

Amazon.com: Kyjen PP01056 Hide-A-Squirrel Pet Toy, Large: Pet Supplies

My Bulldog lived for the Jolly Ball with the handle so he could chew it off first before enjoying the ball.

Chaos has a jolly ball and loves it but one of her dog friends was playing with it and ripped a big hole in the handle She has no problem sharing her toys with her friends but I am starting to have a problem with it as a couple of them love to destroy toys.

Awww. Yeah that little handle is just irresistible to them! These toys are too pricey to have them wrecked in one sitting! I had to budget a Jolly Ball every month or so hahaha.
