Hi. im not sure this is the right place for this but hoping someone can help me out. My sister and her husband have been incarcerated for the last 3 weeks, animal control took their 4 dogs since the person they had in charge of feeding them could not be there all the time and also one of them is diabetic. they took them from Irvington NJ to Newark ASPC and from what im told its not the greatest place. I cannot take the dogs where im at. my niece has agreed to take 2 of the older dogs(one of which is on insulin)the other younger ones were taken to a foster/adoption place in south jersey. They are a miniature Pinscher & Chihuahua, I believe they will be fine.
Now the 2 that my niece is taking are also one min pin and Chihuahua and are old as I said the one will need insulin which is not a huge problem it is affordable but she can only take them for so long, we have no idea when they will be released from jail, does anyone know of any rescue groups NJ preferably Monmouth/Middlesex county. I have contacted a few but they tell me they have no room.
thank you

You should post this in the New Jersey sub-forum for the area where the dogs are currently at. You'll most likely get a better response there.

I don't know New Jersey but they have a "Small Dog Rescue" in Princeton NJ.
I think they would help you out.

Just Google it for info.
