Get a DNA test at the vet.

If the dog is not what they advertised and told you, call the police report their fraud. Also be sure to save a copy of their advertisement.

I think you got taken as far as her being a purebred APBT, but the love of a dog is priceless. I agree you should try to get your money back, and maybe prevent these people from defrauding other people, but I'm sure your girl is as wonderful as any pedigreed dog could ever be.

Just be glad you got the opportunity to rescue a beautiful (and I am sure precious) girl from some unethical people. She is absolutely gorgeous and has the sweetest face! Hopefully she's found a great home with you. And yes, get her "fixed." Too many puppies in this world anyway.

I know how to take care of dogs. I have had dogs my whole life just wanted to try a pitbull. I got her for a play companion for my other dog who is 5 years old and a rottweiler. They are great with each other and makes my rottweiler who is male not so lazy.
