Thankfully, she's better now and we're going to be able to take her home tomorrow. Her ordeal isn't over, she's still not completely well, but fortunately her blood level didn't go lower so she's not going to need a blood tranfusion, at least for now. I'm so glad because I had imagined the worst, I feel awful for thinking she wasn't going to make it but I couldn't help it. Thank God she didn't get any worse. She still has to see her regular vet tomorrow and we'll know by then what her prognosis looks like, but at least for now it seems like she's out of danger.
So relieved to hear she's doing better, and please keep us updated! I remember the night Rudy spent in the hospital, when they thought he might not make it (long story). I had the same thoughts as you, so don't worry - that's a perfectly normal reaction.
I feel for everyone and their pets, and you especially at this time. My little baby got lymphoma in March and was gone in April. I have never gotten over it and never will. I think you will have your baby around for a long time yet, just pray. They are pretty tough, but don't remember yesterday, don't care about tomorrow, and live for today, so I am sure your pet is a happy little camper having you around today.

Winston Churchill said that the greatest injustice in nature was that dogs only live as long as they do. If you have ever loved a dog, you have lost that love or will lose it. Everyone has gone through this and our collective hearts go out to you.
