Do any of you receive Dr. Jon's newsletters? He's a vet who has a website he runs, Pet Place. It's chockful of useful info that he and 80 other vets contribute to the site and you can sign up for a daily email from Dr. Jon (PetCrazy Newsletter).

I've learned a lot (some common sense, but he even posted articles about how to give your dog cpr if needed) and I get a kick out of the videos and photos that he posts.

Here's a video that was sent this morning - you've got to see it! It's a puppy trying to whistle! So darn cute! Video

Hope you take advantage of Dr. Jon's website!!

(this sounds like an advertisement, but i'm not related to/invested in his website in anyway, i just read it and like it )

I subscribe to it as well. Sometimes it is fluff - sometimes there is GREAT info that I've had to pass along on this forum in a paraphrased way (if you subscribe and try to copy the link it will throw your name up at the top...very uncool).

It's a good site for basics and a few laughs and some great stories. The only problem I have is pushing pet insurance and IAMS. And it's on there every day.

Default Doolittler

Thanks, fisher33, for sharing Dr.Jon's newsletter info. I don't subscribe but I do visit the site regularly.

I'd like to share one of my favorite animal-related sites, Doolittler. Dolittler

The author is a Florida veterinarian and you can subscribe to her blog. I may not always agree with her take on things, but I find her almost-daily updates interesting and thought provoking, and I've learned quite a bit from reading various things on her website, too.

I do get Dr. Jon's newletter too but don't always get to read it. I think IAMs and the pet insurance are his sponsors so he has to push them.
