I'm looking where I have rentals .......and this is crazy ...but I'm not the only rental in the city. Some are lower some are higher than my asking price. There is nothing forcing you to rent there. You can go a few cities over and get cheaper rent. If that's too expensive go a few cities further

What about the baby boomer/silent generation people who fought off all attempts to build new housing so their property becomes unaffordable?

You can also go back in time and get rents for pennies on the dollar.

You live at home... and you stated you save 90 something percent of your pay. Which means you oayblittke to no rent. You stated you have 160,000 dollars in savings. Yet you're destitute. Lol.

Hello McFly....when you get back to earth you can also go get another job instead of posting and crying on CD about how unfair life is but I dont see THAT happening.

As usual you just repeat the same crap. What does that have to do with motivated people who take action? Of course you just sit in Mom's basement living for free while bragging how rich you are.
From all we've seen of your posts you are just an entitled person who won't work for for what he wants but just hopes other's misfortunes will allow him to get it.
While the young person I met and told his story gives me hope for this country, people with your attitude worry me.

But can't you get another job? If the consideration is to get a higher paying job in an area where both pay and cost of living is higher, then you need to make that call. We'd all like to have our cake an eat it too.

I'm still reeling at the 'sales pitch' the landlord gave in justifying the increase. Wow! They get drive way access.! It's almost to the point where an landlord says...hey! We have to increase rent because we noticed you have two toilet handles...that is considered
An amenity..not a necessity.

Sure the landlord wins in court. Real estate over real people.

Most investors don't go in guns a blazing to triple fees...

Yes, making in excess of 100k while being subsidized by mommy and daddy puts you in a borderline hopeless situation. I'm not even sure how you continue on.
