OK, so what are we waiting for?

You seem disappointed that we did not have a 1929 style crash today. I am not a Trumper but I want the market and economy to boom. Who cares who gets credit for it or who wins elections because of it.

Something to keep in mind folks, regardless of who or what party holds the presidency or control of Congress. Politicians come and go, and everything out of Washington is noise. There's been bigger idiots than Trump in places of power before, and there will be more in the future, and none of it matters. Ignore the noise, take your profits when things are good, and buy and hold when they're not and you'll find it hard not to make money.

In the 20th century, the United States endured two world wars and other traumatic and expensive military conflicts; the Depression; a dozen or so recessions and financial panics; oil shocks; a flu epidemic; and the resignation of a disgraced president. Yet the Dow rose from 66 to 11,497.

-Warren Buffett

And here we are, only 19 years into the 21st century, and the Dow stands at 26,438. Ignore the noise people. Shut off CNBC, MSNBC and Fox News and start reading annual reports.

Because, of course, nothing matters but business success and Kapitalismus uber alles.

It just means that “news” is not reality. Most of so-called news has absolutely no effect on most people. It is crap and nonsense.

Instead, YOU make your own reality.

I was a little worried Sunday nite when I saw the Shanghai' Index closing price (PST). Pretty sure NY would open lower. My trading rules say, avoid Monday trading, avoid first 2 hours on any trading day, ignore the Dunce. I did a couple of plinking of a stock at the end of the day. I have a fairly large cash hoard ( it's fairly large to me). This is play and retirement hobby.

Not really a troll, IMHO. I smacked my head when I heard the dismal futures report, too.

In other news, the Twit In Chief called the Kentucky Derby penalty something that could only happen in our super-PC world, indicating he doesn't know jack ****e about horse racing, either. But at least all the odds didn't tumble on his pathetically ignorant remark.

Futures were down over 500 point before the opening. I attributed it to Trump, as have many professional market watchers. You want to call that trolling meh. What part of my post was not based in fact?

As for coming back. Most of the time there is no need. I posed the facts and my opinion, many others have now posted theirs. End of story. Later.

There is nothing in the world that could get me to approve of Trump. He could give me a million dollars and a free night with Ivanka at Mar-a-Lago, I would still be against him.

And the secret to Trump's success is he can spot the likes of you easily and doesn't waste any effort at all trying to get you to approve of him. What really drives the Trump haters nuts is that he cannot be corralled by their political correctness and laughs at their outrage.

If it looks like a Dem is going to win 2020, I suggest you go all in.
