My friends, cousins and parents have all received their stimulus money today. I have not. I went onto the IRS website, checked the portal and it told me "according to the information we have on file, we cannot determine your eligibility at this time." Uh, what?
I'm 30 and still live at home. I work two jobs, one full-time job and one part-time job. I make $34,000/year combined without taxes taken out ($21,000 after). I filed my 2019 taxes two weeks ago and my refund was deposited into my bank account yesterday ($65).
I am not a dependent, I filed individually. My student loans are paid on time, although I deferred one. I looked it up and my school loans shouldn't affect anything under CARES. I filed through Turbo Tax and Turbo Tax is stating I should get a stimulus check.
What the heck is going on?
Haven't got mine yet, either. I get the same message.
I filed a 2018 return, but didn't get a refund, so no bank info. I get SS; I've been told that it'll be direct deposit like my SS. I'm guessing that the ones that were easiest, were given first. Then those that require extra steps would be later. Just a guess.
They may have done the 2018 returns (w/o a 2019 return) first? Because most people haven't filed 2019 returns yet.
Anyone receive their stimulus deposits who uses TurboTax? I’ve read there may be a glitch in that the irs may not have the deposit info due to filer companies like tt having their own processing logistics. I use tt.
I don't think it is places like Turbo Tax -- i think it is the places where they give you your refund up front and then the refund goes to the tax preparation company.

No it is a random algorithm that selects the batch individuals.
Is there a date that the IRS stated payments would be made to direct deposit accounts?
Still haven't gotten ours yet, and we filed with direct deposit the last few years. We are under the cutoffs.
They hope to be completed in 3 weeks.
First batch was sent to banks for deposit last Friday --- and they didn't 'show up' until Wednesday. Another batch went out yesterday so more people will see money on Wednesday.
Can someone tell me EXACTLY where to click to check my bank account info or to give them my bank account info?
I paid in 2018 but it was directly from my bank account.
I have gone to :
-Get Coronavirus Tax Relief
-Check your payment status
-Get My Payment ( I entered in my SS#, DoB, Street Add., ZIP
but get:
Payment Status Not Available
Where do I check/enter my bank account info?
You are probably getting the error because you're not in their database yet. We're in the same boat where we owed last year. The IRS doesn't save your bank account info. We're going to have to keep checking the get my payment link and hope that we'll stop getting the error to enter our bank info.

In the FAQs on the site, it says that those who get the $ via their Social Security info, are not in the online source to check on the status of the payment. I found that later. So I won't ever be listed there.
Probably because it's not automatic; they do the searches electronically, & therefore those w/o DD info on 2018 returns are not captured in the initial searches and require add'l separate electronic searches.
