Give it a couple of days. There are millions of ppl receiving these, and there will be some hickups....Go to that site once a day for updates....there will be a link..."Where's my money" follow directions and submit any additional info....But IMO you are simply waiting for your info to catch up...since you just got your tax refund.....

Finally some concrete information about SSA.

Get My Payment allows people to track the status of their stimulus payment. However, the IRS says:

If you’re an SSA Form 1099 recipient, your information won’t show up in Get My Payment. Instead you’ll get a message that says “payment status not available.”

But the IRS said that it’s “working with your agency to issue your payment.”

I filed with TT. Have been for years.
When I checked, it said there was an issue, and it gave me an option to enter my banking info, which I did.
Now when I check, of course, I get the error stating something about 24 hours.
*shrug.*
I guess all I can do now is wait for it to show up in my account... Wish I had some sort of anticipated date.

Can someone tell me EXACTLY where to click to check my bank account info or to give them my bank account info?

I paid in 2018 but it was directly from my bank account.

I have gone to :

-Get Coronavirus Tax Relief

-Check your payment status

-Get My Payment ( I entered in my SS#, DoB, Street Add., ZIP

but get:

Payment Status Not Available

Where do I check/enter my bank account info?

Is there a date that the IRS stated payments would be made to direct deposit accounts?

Still haven't gotten ours yet, and we filed with direct deposit the last few years. We are under the cutoffs.

I'm not sure if it actually works for those that have filed already filed for taxes for 2018.

We also used Turbo Tax and that could be a reason for the error message as well.

I've read that they will be releasing another wave of payments today to be deposited next Wednesday. We'll see what happens.

The stimulus check has been a cluster bomb. Some people had the money going to closed accounts since they were on file (this I do not blame on the IRS but rather the individual.) If you used a tax preparer like Jackson-Hewitt, you aren't getting it because it went to the temporary account the preparer used rather than your bank account. The website crashed and showed "It cannot be determined" rather than a server issue. Some people had the IRS transpose the account so you didn't get the money and it went into someone else's account. Any fix to this will come when the follow up letter shows up in the mail 15 days AFTER you should have gotten the money. And people thought ObamaCare was a cluster bomb...

I just read that the Stimulus Check is actually the advanced payment on a 2020 tax year credit... does that mean it will be eventually based on 2020 tax year income? Since the text is that you will eventually get the stimulus even if you did not qualify based on 2018 and 2019 tax years. This is being reported by Bloomberg.

https://www.businessinsider.com/pers...s-check-2020-4

Edit - the article states that the money will not be taken back if you qualified with 2018 or 2019 income but did not qualify with 2020 income. However, if the reverse applies to you then you will be able to get a stimulus check based on 2020 income which is great although you will have to wait till 2021 to get the check when filing your 2020 taxes.

My understanding was it was a prebate extra tax credit for your 2020 taxes. It isn't income and you don't need to add it in when it comes to tax time.
