I, like the OP, don't think it will be quite as bad as the Great Depression. However, I am wondering where the heck people are going to find jobs when many are being outsourced and others are lost from company failures. I guess the government will create jobs? But, where are they going to get the money when we are already trillions in debt? I am no economist, by any means, the whole thing confuses me.
The financial system is purposely designed to be confusing, so that we are more apt to shrug our shoulders and say leave it to the experts. Then the experts can legally steal as much as they want to in broad daylight, under the guise of bailouts and/or stimulus packages. Even though they rob us blind in broad daylight, I bet we'll vote most of them right back into office next time around....because they are working so hard to make our lives better..

It took a while for the GD to realize itself. We are looking at a Mega depression, that will make the first one look like a day at Disneyland.
We don't have the moral character to handle what our Grandparents went through. The camps have been built. The model has been approved. Look at the homeless camp in Reno Nevada. 100,000 people living in tents in Nevada, Seattle, Arizona.

I am waiting for Obama to create an internal security force to begin putting down insurrections. I put a monies but that besides Fox News which the majority of people watch these days, CNN and the like which are connected to the left will not cover any sort of internal problem as a means of keeping Obama and the left in power. An iron current of knowledge may be the next step.

The 4th Infantry Division has been training for civil unrest for almost a year,this is in complete violation of the Posse Comitatus statutes that have been on the books since reconstruction times.Somebody better read that damn Patriot Act one day!!!
