If tomorrow you woke up and found out you had to do HS all over again what would you do differently? For me, definitely spending more time studying and not getting so crazy over boys lol.
Same here. I would take the most rigorous load possible, make straight A's, and win a scholarship to a prestigous school.
I would cram to graduate early and get out of high school then jump straight into college. I don't think there is anything I learned in high school that has been of any value to me. When I went to community college, that's where all the real learning took place.
i probably would do the same thing because my life hasn't been effected adversely by any of my High School antics. I would, however, try a little harder to maintain some friendships I lost that were important to me during that time.
I would have learned more about certain subjects, like sentence structure, punctuation , and math. I was too busy drag racing and chasing girls to pay attention in school, and paid the price when I got into the job market. Had to teach myself a lot of stuff I should have already known.

Get less detention, get good grades, and seduce a couple of the girls. Easy to do all three.

I would make a lot of plans, but still be speculating on the result day
I did the best I could, but failed to get into the two colleges of my choice, on the East Coast. I got into a small liberal arts college, out west, as a result of my step-father pulling some strings with a former student of his, who happened to be a Dean at another college.
I was initially crushed, but it changed my life. I loved every minute of my studies; graduated with high honors, and went on to get an MA, MS and Ph.D (after serving 4 years in the US Navy) and worked creatively the rest of a 40 year career as a researcher and consultant in environmental and resource economics.
My work ethic was always good, but my brain just didn't mature that fast. It just took a while to learn how to love a life of the mind vs. being a jock. You never know how things will turn out.
