Well so much for all that hype after beating Houston. Wow it is so frustrating watching a team just look completely different from the one who beat Houston and instead can't find a way to beat 1-4 Memphis. Now our bowl chances have gone back to slim. Unbelievable.

Scrap the 3-3-5 and go 4-3 or 3-4? Something more basic?

no need to run off price just yet...who would you hire to take his place?

Doesn't matter. I'm tired of hearing "UTEP will not find a coach "better" than Mike Price." That is true. UTEP will never get a coach with better credentials than Mike Price, but that doesn't mean there ISN'T someone out there for UTEP.

UTEP needs to hire an assistant from a good program and let them build the program the right way. Hiring a re-tread, isn't the way to go.

You make a good point Skilo but you also don't want to constantly be hiring/firing coaches. All that says to potential recruits is that the program isn't stable...look at what happened to Baylor. They were always trying to find that perfect coach after Teaff and went through 4 of them which subsequently kept the program from moving forward until the recent hiring of Art Briles.

I guess we will see how it plays out as the season progresses. UTEP just needs to learn how to catch the ball
