Yeah losing to nmsu is bad, sorry bro! How bad was the loss at utep for HOUSTON, They completely dropped out of the top 25, from 12th to completely out the top 25, thats pretty rare!

What a difference a game makes. One week people are calling for Coach Price to be fired, the next they are retracting their statements. I mean that just shows how El Paso has a fair-weathered fan base. Losing by a gazillion to UT and there's only 26k to witness the Miners beat the No. 12 team in the Nation, and now you have these fans jumping back on the bandwagon. Where were they for the first 2 games despite losing them? I will always stick by Coach Price and the team no matter how the rest of the season shapes up but a victory over the Cougars has made me excited.

I am not a jump on the bandwagon fan, i been to all the games! I love Price, but enough is enough, El PASO deserves a winner. Sorry but im not content w mediocrity, Yes, he took us to two Bowl games, but those players were recruited by Nord. Price's job should be in jeopardy, until he takes us to a bowl game or atleast a damm winning season!

We want to aim high and have high goals but our fan base was at a low point this past weekend and we still had 27K in the stands. There are some CUSA teams that don't get that many during winning seasons.

Bandwagon fans are everywhere not just UTEP. Example, when there was talk about UH perhaps going to a BCS bowl and joining the big 12 a good number of my neighbors all of a sudden were UH fans and displayed the red and white colors from their homes, after the UTEP game the following sunday almost everyone took their colors down from the homes.

I think now it depends on if they can sustain what started on Saturday....some of the teams they lost to last year made it to bowl games but are not doing as well this year. Look at UH...big win over TX Tech one week and loss to UTEP the next week.

This weekend's game against Memphis will tell us a lot. Go Miners.
