I'm not giving up on the season yet, but the way the season has shaped up, its not looking good to go to a bowl game. They better put together for the last four games or were staring at a 4th consecutive losing season.

Yeah, from the SI CUSA conference champion and Liberty Bowl to no mention at all as a CUSA team predicted to go to any bowl game.

Never Trust SI on Non-AQ teams

Give the squad credit...they did something well enough that even after the Memphis loss, pinheads on UH fan sites were thinking the Miner's body of work this year had them being too good to lose at home to UAB and ending up 7-1 in conference.

Yes, that's myopic Cougarfan thinking that UH packing up after leading 10-0 is the be-all and end-all of the season for you.

Well I personally think it's time to fire Mike Price.

Mike Price should retire or should be fired. Yesterday is the straw that broke the camels back.

I can't for the life of me understand why we still have MP? I mean look at other coaches that were fired rather quickly once it was CLEAR that we were on the losing end - Nord comes to mind... Really, MP has lost his lustre and I think its time for UTEP to put some $$ into the football team and get a good coach to actually coach. As a lifelong EPoan, I am tired of almost always losing. I was there for both big upsets but am really tired of the "hey look, they almost pulled it out". I want to WIN! I want to support a winning team! (I'll still take the kids to a couple of games though but it would be more if they would WIN)! off the soap box.

Sometimes it seems the mindset is Mike Price winning or losing is better than what was there before and more credible (or name brand) than anyone we can bring in to replace him.
