False.

And the state of Texas has $6BN in the bank for disasters just such as this one. Trust me, the state will spare no expense.

However, it is legitimate to ask why we Texan's don't get our taxpayer money back from the Feds when it comes to natural disasters, yet other states do.

Just letting you know that Perry flew back to Texas to take care of the fires...I know that doesn't help your cause...

Would be nice to see some Obama apologists admit this, though.

Oh, wait - He would probably need federal permission.

Seriously?! We elected TWO morons W, and Mr. Good-hair. Both of whom are bigger idiots than President Obama.

I wouldn't be so quick on the trigger, you're way wide of the mark.

Obviously it wasn't funny, and if you've got to explain how it's funny, there's you clue.

No one's running to tell anyone, anything..hence the words directly aimed at you re: the TOS. If you can't handle it play somewhere else. If you want to insult, call names, go for it. But don't go trying to play tough guy, pushing people around on the keyboard. There are already one too many turd blossoms floating around this tank and there's no need for another so you'll have to apply for a different position.

$70 million as of June 1, meaning the Federal Gov't is being asked by Perry to pay $52.5 million and Texas would be stuck w/ $17.5 million.

And for the 2011-2012 budget the Texas Forest Service faces a $34 BILLION dollar cut to their programs that deal specifically w/ these type of disasters.

Another adios mofo moment for Mr. Good-hair.
