I think he may have a chance to win as an Independent.
Notwithstanding your protestations of being an independent, you might as well just come out and say you want 4 more years of Obama; because that's exactly what a center-right "independent" campaign would practically guarantee. That is, if he can get anyone to even pay attention to him.

Exactly, but they don't want him either evidently.

Yes it would and I think anyone should know that. However, I see some of the tea party people trying to threaten to run a third party candidate if they don't get the nominee they want. I hope they know to be careful what they wish for.

Yeah well, we got a taste of the Tea Party's "scorched-earth" credentials when the hard-liners among them damn near torpedoed the debt ceiling deal. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't give a hoot what the actual outcome is of running a "Tea Party" candidate against the other two. If they don't run a third-party candidate, it will probably be because they figure it a waste of resources rather than for pragmatic political reasons.

Where he can speak 'Chinese'...yes that would work. He is just not a likeable candidate. He has that nerdy yet know-it-all quality about him and he tries to come off as witty and that doesn't work either.

I don't really think they could get anybody crazy enough to do it anyway. If they can get Rick Perry nominated they will settle for that.

He has no chance of winning regardless of how he runs..He would get even less support as an independent.

I want to have another choice besides Obama and a far right extremist, THAT would be Huntsman. I believe a lot of democrats would vote for the man...especially southern democrats. If Paul were to put him on his ticket and if paul won the nomination, I may consider voting for Paul as Paul may not last an entire term.

He may have to put some of his own money into the campaign, but he has the money if he is willing to do it. He is sqeeky clean without any baggage and he is the most qualified of all of the Republican candidates.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. You have yours and I have mine and I disagree completely.

You don't think they could find a crazy enough person from inside the Tea Party. Really? Seriously?
