Come on New Jerseyites (or whatever you call yourselves, or is that "yous guys"?), tell me what Christie has done for NJ.
Why is he the great fat hope?

He's a leader.

We certainly wouldn't have Iranian warships parked off our shores.

Biden would charge them rent, just like he did the secret service protecting him and his family.

The right are more desperate than ever and grasping at anyone they possibly can, as they know their ship is sinking fast.

I want to know more about Bob McDonnell. He doesn't shoot his mouth off like Christie and he seems to be doing well for Virginia.
This country really has to get away from the personality cult thing. It's not serving us well.

You shouldn't. Christie is not going to get the nomination. He's too liberal for the Midwest and South

A lot of people seem to like Christie and I can understand that he has stood up to the powers that be in his state. That said, so have most of the candidates that are running in some way of fashion and why would he be better than any of the others? One thing I don't much care for is how he dodges questions regarding his feeling about gun rights in our country. If you are for em, great, come out and say so. If you are against em, say that too. I am quite sure he is a great governor, but then, how long has he been governor? He has said repeatedly that he does not want to be president at this time. Time to cut him loose and let him govern New Jersey.

CC is being pushed, as GOP leaders assessing their feelings toward it, view him as the only possible hope, and they are spot on.

And then he's probably gonna say go away, I'm not going to be president, and then the GOP will try to look for their next savior. Right now, can't think of anyone else they're gonna pull out of the hat except David Petraeus. If not him, then they might beg Gov. Walker to run

Really??? You are joking, right? Has anybody thought about the fact that the PTB just might not have a candidate they can get to do their bidding yet. Or they do and they want to be sure he gets the nomination.
