His views, maybe, but certainly no ones' looks should be a qualifier or disquailifer. Only someone very narrow minded would base their opinon on this.
Christie would be the best Republican candidate out of the bunch. As a left leaning Independent that voted for Obama I'd vote for Christie if he ran. The man is a no nonsense guy and will tell you to your face like it is.

However, I think it would be interesting to have our next presidential election be The Fat White Guy v. The Skinny Black Guy.
That's about how deep I really believe politics go, anyway. They're all the same, other than appearances.
Christie has the same problem as Huntsman, waaaayyy too sane to win GOP nomination.
sorry, not even close: if nothing else he is very likable. Should this make a difference? Probably not, but it does. They are as different as night and day....Both may be mid stream or moderate Repulbicans but that is where the similarities stop.
