Obama thinks he knows everything and constantly makes a fool of himself. His arrogance is his major weakness.

Cain has already been asked this question over and over and answered as so. The left wing media went after him this weekend and he chewed em up and spit em out. The republicans will try and take some shots to slow him down but he won't bite. He keeps on his message of running to fix the economy and he'll be the next president. Playing little kids games is for kids. Bout time we had somebody running who was above all that nonsense. He speaks his mind and that is what I like.

How many books has Herman Cain put out? Ron Paul is VERY knowledgeable when it comes to foreign policy and although I can't stand the guy Newt is very well versed in foreign policy. So you're wrong.

I'm no fan of Paul's foreign policy. As for books is that what your using to decide who is qualified for president. If that's the case then your voting for Stephen King right?

I don't know.

He kind of reminds me of Ross Perot. The Businessman/Outsider who comes in with an admittedly refreshing dose of outspokenness. He has a great record of "getting things done" and thus presents an appealing choice.

The problem, as all Presidents and other elected officials find out, is that governing is largely about image, consensus building, and constant worrying about reelection. Not the place a businessman used to getting his way is going to thrive. Imagine Cain dealing with Congress and a Press constantly on the attack.

We are always easy prey to novelty- someone different or not part of the Washington establishment. You might even say Obama benefited from that kind of thinking. The problem with that, to steal a phrase, is that when you are not inside, you are outside. Ask Jimmy Carter. Better yet, ask Ross Perot. Where is he these days?

Cain has a plan. I have yet to see any of the others push a solid plan. I have yet to see Obama inform us of his plan.

One has to vote for Obama's plan to see what it is.

"You see, what I had done is..."

LOL

He's a idiot and he still has that old southern black dialect...

He's not going anywhere, he's nothing more than man the republicans want to stand to stay "Hey, I'm not racist, I like Hermain Cain".

Like that idiot who got canned by ESPN for his remarks about Obama.

In reality he's a disgrace and a horrible speaker, Allen West is 10 times better and he should have ran to give blacks a better look than Cain

And according to Wikipedia when he ran Godfather Pizza he slashed the number of stores from 911 to 420?????? Ok. Fine. It's very easy to make a company profitable by slashing stores. Many companies try to find ways to make their company profitable by making their stores and product more profitable. I mean seriously what kind of business savvy skills does it take to go into a company slash the stores in half and say look at us we are not profitable. And "fk" Pilsbury aka General Mills. Just another multinational corporation hell bent on putting out ****ty processed food.
Hardly a salient point. And not to defend the guy but you conveniently glossed over the fact that he was a CEO, and also chairmen of the Federal Reserve in Kansas in addition to sitting on quite a few boards for multi billion dollar industries. That's a far cry from just being an "ex-pizza guy" as you so eloquently put it. Mentioning by your standards that he was CEO of allegedly 1 company is hardly a "few" and hardly "factual."

But I'll take your word for it that he "slashed" business to increase profit--but isn't that what Obama is doing now in order to help balance the budget in the first place? He has been "slashing" government spenditures for months now. "Slashing" wasteful liabilities has always been a tactic to increase revenue and improve any business let alone this nations economy.

Why if your were running a business that is failing let it continue to fail? Only a liberal would do that.

Ask, and you shall receive:

Herman Cain is running for president. He’s not a career politician (in fact he has never held political office). He’s known as a pizza guy, but there’s a lot more to him. He’s also a computer guy, a banker guy, and a rocket scientist guy.

Here’s his bio:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics.
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science.
  • Mathematician for the Navy, where he worked on missile ballistics (making him a rocket scientist).
  • Computer systems analyst for Coca-Cola.
  • VP of Corporate Data Systems and Services for Pillsbury (this is the top of the ladder in the computer world, being in charge of information systems for a major corporation).
All achieved before reaching the age of 35. Since he reached the top of the information systems world, he changed careers!
  • Business Manager. Took charge of Pillsbury’s 400 Burger King restaurants in the Philadelphia area, which were the company’s poorest performers in the country. Spent the first nine months learning the business from the ground up, cooking hamburger and yes, cleaning toilets. After three years he had turned them into the company’s best performers.
  • Godfather’s Pizza CEO. Was asked by Pillsbury to take charge of their Godfather’s Pizza chain (which was on the verge of bankruptcy). He made it profitable in 14 months.
  • In 1988 he led a buyout of the Godfather’s Pizza chain from Pillsbury. He was now the owner of a restaurant chain. Again he reached the top of the ladder of another industry.
  • He was also chairman of the National Restaurant Association during this time. This is a group that interacts with government on behalf of the restaurant industry, and it gave him political experience from the non-politician side.
Having reached the top of a second industry, he changed careers again!
  • Adviser to the Federal Reserve System. Herman Cain went to work for the Federal Reserve Banking System advising them on how monetary policy changes would affect American businesses.
  • Chairman of the Kansas City Federal Reserve Bank. He worked his way up to the chairmanship of a regional Federal Reserve bank. This is only one step below the chairmanship of the entire Federal Reserve System (the top banking position in the country). This position allowed him to see how monetary policy is made from the inside, and understand the political forces that impact the monetary system.
After reaching the top of the banking industry, he changed careers for a fourth time!
  • Writer and public speaker. He then started to write and speak on leadership. His books include Speak as a Leader, CEO of Self, Leadership is Common Sense, and They Think You’re Stupid.
  • Radio Host. Around 2007—after a remarkable 40 year career—he started hosting a radio show on WSB in Atlanta (the largest talk radio station in the country).
He did all this starting from rock bottom (his father was a chauffeur and his mother was a maid). When you add up his accomplishments in his life—including reaching the top of three unrelated industries: information systems, business management, and banking—Herman Cain may have the most impressive resume of anyone that has run for the presidency in the last half century

He's just another right wing talking head. Things in the middle east are spiraling towards a major war. Pakistan, Syria, Libya, Egpyt, Iran. The middle east is out of control. Sorry but I don't think an ex pizza CEO is the best man for the job.
The left voted for Clinton, and Obama with NO foreign policy experience.

Why does it matter now?
