- championed open ended unemployment
- pushed welfare far beyond the original intent of the program
- pushed for government handouts rather than a hand up to minorities.
- generated an entire culture of government reliance rather than self-reliance
- foment racism
- began a war on poverty which has been an utter failure
(poverty in 1964 was lower than it is now)
- endorse and promote minority hiring quotas
Somehow redistributing wealth from the wealthy to the non-white has somehow become pro-race, when the reality is that progressives don't believe in minorities enough to allow them to become income neutral. Poverty went down under Clinton only after he did a 180 in 96 and gave in to the Contract with America Republicans. Both Bush's, Clinton term 1 and Obama all suck beans.

I take offense to your comments. My Mother is "latino", and has a Bachelor's degree in Social Services and a Master's in Mental Health.
