This could be a really big night for Santorum. He could win MN, MO, and Colorado today. Not much in the way of delegates but the press he would get for sweeping three states would be priceless.

I don't think he could get CO. What I do think is possible is that Romney could come in 3rd or 4th in Minnesota since santorum is at 33 and everyone else is all bunched up in the low 20s. Either way a Santorum win in MN will mean Santorum will have done something no-one has done to this point, flip a 2008 Romney state.

Second place is anyone's game only 4% separates 2nd from 4th.

Personally I am rooting for Romney to come in last. This GOP slug fest is hilarious and I want it to continue all the way to Tampa.

Me too. There was a time when I could actually have seen myself voting for Mittens, but he has blown it completely with his right turn pandering to ideas that disgust me. Let the knives come out!

Mitt brought this on himself. The campaign was very positive and united against Obama until Mitt used his super pacs to slime Gingrich in Iowa and feigned innocence about the whole thing. That was when Gingrich put out "King of Bain" and the whole thing got negative.

That truly was a fortunate turn of events.

Agreed. One could have dismissed his flip flopping as a necessary part of winning a Republican primary. But we learned with the his ads and Gingrich's counter that his dishonestly is visceral. Newt was right about him. He's a liar not a shrewd politician.

Minnesota brought us Hubert Humphrey. Maybe you libs remember him? I voted for Santorum in Florida.
Republicans should vote for the person whose beliefs are closest to their own, not vote for who the media tells them has a better chance to beat Obama. Romney lost to McCain. If Santorum is not the nominee I'll vote against Obama anyway.

Yes, and Republican candidates should say and stand for what they truly believe and not try to pull the wool over the eyes of the voters by changing their views depending on which state they are speaking in. Santorum is a kook in my book, but I will give him props for being the most honest person in the Republican primary.
