People think of Minnesota as moderate but in reality it is half far right and half far left. The God squad runs the Republican party here so it is not surprising that Santorum would do well.

as newt fades away, we now see the rise of santorum.

well, i guess every single republican candidate has been pushed by the media --except ron paul.

i wonder why that is?

i heard rush limbaugh discussing the candidates and he said that there were 3 -leaving ron paul out altogether.

that is nutty-you may not favor a candidate, but it is just bizarre to pretend that they aren't even in the race. i also found it very odd that limbaugh said that newt had baggage (agreeing with kerry on global warming), and that there were no republicans who did not have a dent in their conservative armour?

I agree, I find it very disrespectful, but this whole bizarre nomination has been. Even though I don't see eye to eye with Dr. Paul on several issues, I like him much better than Gingrich and Santorum as a person.
