I would say its a testament to Paul's idea of small government as to why he has only had 1 bill passed. government doesn't need to run our lives. He doesn't want to legalize drugs he wants to give the states the right to do so. Oh and Prostitution is already legal in parts of Nevada its not a bad thing..sheesh. What terrible foreign policy? You enjoy invading countries and bringing "democracy" to them against their will? You would rather send money overseas than take care of our own citizens here?

Normally I would not reply to new members in this section. As I have reason to believe some of you newer members are being directed here to spam for your god, or you are a duplicate account.

I actually prefer Romney, Or Santorum.

If not voting in the election was a option I would have chosen that.

My reasons are the same as the other voters (who are the majority btw, rather you want to believe or not) who have rejected your candidate.

I know it's a conspiracy, your candidate isn't winning so there must be voter fraud.

I'm not enamoured of Paul's FP either, but as David Walker says, our biggest threat now comes not from somebody hiding in a cave in Afghanistan, but from our own fiscal policy.

If we continue on this same path of spend, spend, spend, we are done for. Pres. Paul would be unlikely to be able to effect either drug or prostitution legalization, if that is a concern. He might favor it, but it wouldn't get thru Congress.

Didnt you all know that being a Ron Paul supporter and having a Ron Paul sticker on your car makes you a potential terrorist suspect?

Obama.

For such a strict Constitutionalist, Paul sure seems to have a big problem with parts of it, like Article 6 and the first amendment.

So race will not affect my choice. (I'm not surprised it was brought up though.)

When presented with a guy who has done nothing in 30 years, passing ONE BILL. That's my reason for not voting for him.

A guy who wants to legalize drugs and possibly prostitution. That's another reason why I wont.

Who has a TERRIBLE foreign policy.

Along with being endorsed by abunch of conspiracy nutjobs, and their fans.

No thanks. I'll pass.
i guess you are the biggest obama critic who would actually vote for him then.

frankly, as an american citizen i would think you would be more concerned with the effort to deprive citizens of our rights with all these bills that obama has signed, and is ready to sign-like expansion of the patriot act, NDAA, ACTA-to name a few.

THAT is the power of the presidency-and it certainly has been abused.

i would certainly think that ron paul would do a better job on freedom that barack obama has done for americans.

as far as terrible foreign policy, why don't you read what our own soldiers are saying about the various wars (see the rolling stone piece yesterday)? i would think that they would have the most insight into what is happening in terms of foreign policy, military intervention, and what impact it is actually having in those countries.

iraq-big mess
libya-big mess
afghanistan-big mess
egypt-big mess (with our support for the arab spring, which is backfiring on us-no surprise)

and it doesn't take a genius to figure that things aren't going to go well in syria or iran if we get involved there either.
i ask again what have we WON with all these wars?
