You used the words 'left' and 'intellectual' in the same sentence.

The result of that recall vote favored that simpleton Walker, and signifies that the limitations of the people in that state prevailed over the STRENGTHS.
Yea, they are all dumbasses because they don't agree with you. Sounds to me like sour grapes.

Close, but the sweep is complete.
The recall was a total fail.
Massive waste of resources and energy.

We've become a nation of two year olds who throw tantrums when we don't get what we want.
School districts and budget deficits, I'm sick of it. Locally we have a school district who expelled four students for making bomb threats. But the district still has to pay for their alternative education. Thats crap, the parents should have to pay or the students should have to pay, just take any future tax returns they get and apply it to the bill. Or home school the little losers.
Then there's another local school district who is mulling over whether to declare bankruptcy on a 4 million dollar budget deficit. Oh, they had money to spend millions of dollars on a new football stadium recently. And they could lose millions by having a crook handle their investments. And there's the big city school district thats raising a stink over having to lay off teachers over budget shortfalls. And yet they steadfastly refuse to allow a new school tax system that would shift the tax burden away from home owners to make all residents pay. And they need lots of extra teachers because so many of the students can't speak english. And then there were the specially catered dinners the administrators had to have and the computers the students needed which were stolen by the dozens. $$$$ down the sewer.
And then you have the district where a long time school board member is voted out but then is immediately appointed back to his old job when another school board member suddenly decides to step down. Screw the voters, what do they know, I guess.

Looks to me like the result of higher turnout by upper income (above median) voters.

NYT exit poll shows 38% under $50K income, and I doubt 62% of Wisconsin residents are above $50K income, so money talked.

I call bogus.

Since when have unions ever resorted to violence if they didn't get their way?

Some very well spoken, erudite tweeters, I might add.
