There will always be some racists of all colors and there are some that will not vote for Obama because he is black. However, there are not enough to swing the election. Want to know how I know? Because he won last time! The fact that he is in trouble right now is because enough of the people that voted for him last time (non-racists) think his policies have failed. Do you really think people would be happy with a white guy if we were in our current predicament?

And yet, many of the people that are attacked as racist because they don't support Obama's liberal policies, do support and would be happy to vote for, Allen West. Whenever the left can't win an arguement, a great many toss out the "wacism" card as if it's a valid arguement.

With Obama, the issue isn't his race. It's his utter lack of leadership ability, poor handling of the economy and corruption and incompetence within his administration that has distressed so many people.

Weepy Scott Walker Foe Tells CNN: ‘This is the End of Democracy’| Wisconsin Recall Election | TheBlaze.com
democracy to a liberal is when the people get ginned up to do the bidding of the progressives.

the end of democracy to a liberal is when the people dont buy the snake oil being sold by progressives.

I'm no fan of Walker, from what I have seen.

However, isn't everyone making too big a deal of this (both sides). I mean, I don't think the public unions are all that bad, but in Wisconsin they may have been pushing a bit too hard for the public sector, when the state budget was in the tank. That seems selfish. I think it is also idiotic to assume that public workers should have no ability to organize to put their viewpoints forward (Some people here are like HAMAS, they think public employees have no right to exist!-most Wisconsonians or Americans don't agree with that lunacy).

I suspect that Wisconsin, a pretty moderate state, can see both sides of this. I don't think they want to become a socialist utopia, nor do they want to become Texas. The exit polls showed they support Walker and Obama, for instance.

Walker was overzealous (but arguably bringing a tough issue forward), the left overreacted, the right predictably dumped a ton of cash so they could make it a national political issue, many Wisconsonians thought the recall was too much, so Walker won. I don't see it as the end of the world, nor does it mean that everyone wants to through public employees under the bus. A lot of whining and high fiving, but I don't see either as very warranted.

We'll have to see how it plays out.

Not a single one of you yahoos bothered to actually watch the video. The guy wasn't talking about it being the end democracy just because Walker won--he was talking about the citizens united ruling and the ability of very wealthy individuals and companies to spend unlimited amounts of money secretly on elections. From all the blabbering I've heard over the years from BOTH SIDES either about George Soros or corporations and campaign spending, you'd think both sides would be outraged over it, but as long as your team is able to outspend the other by astronomical levels it's all just fine.

I hate hypocrites.

Right-

Such 'answers" are the refuge of losers who would like to assign blame to others, rather than themselves, for failure.

If one is black and modestly intelligent and hard working, they can get into a college far better that their academic credentials would allow otherwise. Furthermore, in many instances they can go to school essentially free, simply due to the color of thier skin. After school, businesses and professional schools also have "quotas" to fill, such that a minority student can obtain positions for which more qualified applicants are denied.

Racism DOES play a role- however it is not in the manner you thought. Now had I similar opportunities (as a fairly poor kid) which were granted to more wealthy minorities, life would have been much easier.

Stop making excuses.

Walker's win signals the end of democracy.

Now the unions are accountable to the voters - the horror.

Now teachers have to choose to pay the Union its dues, the Union can't automatically deduct the money - pure evil.

Now teachers get to vote if they will have a union or not and what that union will be - how fascist.

Now the union owned health insurance company can't use its monopoly to overcharge the schools/government/tax payers, all companies can compete for the business - Walker is a total dictator.

Now unions must hold private votes and not public votes for certification - how corporatist.

Now teachers have to help pay for health and retirement benefits while still receiving 80K for 10 months of work in total compensation per average full time teacher - the end of the middle class.

This certainly is the end for democracy in Wisconsin.

Laura Bush didn't push herself on us by telling is what we can and can't eat or drink. The wives of Democrat Presidents (Hillarycare) think we voted for them. That makes them fair game.

For the record, I didn't like Nancy Reagan, either.
