Miss the point much? Here's why he said the "end of democracy" - because Walker had 3 billionaires and big, big outside money behind him. Bought and paid for! Now what do these wealthy backers expect in return, a balanced Wisconsin budget? Right...
Question then: why do you on the Right support this system? Could it be that you (historically like others) don't like the lower-class vote - democracy itself? Many people throughout history have believed that only the upper classes should vote - the better for them of course.
This is what the "end of democracy" is all about, and has been in the works for decades.

Walker won both elections. People always have to come up with some excuse as to why they are on the losing side.

I support any system that eliminates the Scourge of America, also known as the Democratic Party. Since their inception they have been the party of bigots and hatred, with only one objective - destroy the US by any means.
They failed during the Civil War, so now they are trying to destroy the US economically. Patriotic Americans will not allow that to happen.

The US is a constitutional republic. If you want a democracy you will have to go to ... oh wait, there are no democracies anywhere on the planet. Well, I guess you are just SOL.

Listen to Fox much?
Check up on your history. The Dems were the party of slavery and oppression at one time then switched places with the repubs who are now the corporate fascist party. And you favor them? The fascist mentality never dies - and it can happen here.

Actually, not at all. I have not watched any TV, except for DVDs, since August 2006.

Democrats are still the party of slavery, which is why they continue to support Affirmative Action and keeping minorities down on the "plantation" with their socialist welfare. With regard to fascism, it was not the Republican Party that mandated health insurance for everyone or be subject to a fine. It was not the Republican Party that created an off-shore oil moratorium by fiat.

The Democrat Party have been fascists since their inception. Which is why those who did not join Andrew Jackson's Democratic Party called themselves "Whigs," to mock the fascist in the White House.

I use Fox as a catch-all for fascist media, so you're listening to someone, since you use the term "Democrat Party". Nobody gets their news and information from DVDs.
Like I said in another post, conservatives such as yourself are not against "socialist welfare" if you approve of the recipient.

I get the bulk of my news from Thousands of Newspapers on the Net & Listed on OnlineNewspapers.com

I am against all forms of federal welfare, regardless of the recipient. That was not a power granted to the federal government by the US Constitution, nor did the US Constitution prohibit the States from enacted socialist welfare programs. Therefore, the power to create socialist welfare programs lies solely with the States, not the federal government.

With Obama, the issue isn't his race. It's his utter lack of leadership ability, poor handling of the economy and corruption and incompetence within his administration that has distressed so many people.
* Obama doesn't "handle" the economy. An obstructionist Congress does.
* "Incompetence" - inability to overcome obstructionist repubs (just exactly what you want so you are not "distressed" at all). Keep it up, some of us are on to you.
* Obama's "liberal policies", like retaining the Bush tax cuts?
BUT, winding down the Republican wars, equal rights for minorities, women, and gays, killing off Bin Laden and his followers, calling attention to corporate crooks. Yes, one can see why you hate him.

Where are the true interests of the union? Certainly not with the teachers, but rather with their big greedy corporate insurance coverage monopoly overcharging individual school districts several hundreds of thousands of dollars per year above fair market value.
