Weepy Scott Walker Foe Tells CNN: ‘This is the End of Democracy’| Wisconsin Recall Election | TheBlaze.com
Last I heard, democracy was based on things like : the majority rules, isn't that what people were saying when they supported Walker. I do not see the end of Democracy just because someone doesn't get his/her way.

I didn't see the man accuse you of fascism. What I saw was an attempt to point out that you have confused liberalism and fascism.

I always thought that about how some people talked about Condeleeza Rice but they couldn't see anything racist in calling her a Aunt Jemima. How is there a difference?

Now the union owned health insurance company can't use its monopoly to overcharge the schools/government/tax payers, all companies can compete for the business - Walker is a total dictator.

Now unions must hold private votes and not public votes for certification - how corporatist.

Now teachers have to help pay for health and retirement benefits while still receiving 80K for 10 months of work in total compensation per average full time teacher - the end of the middle class.

This certainly is the end for democracy in Wisconsin.
The more I think about this, the more I realize the part in bold is one of the main reasons the union when nuts in WI.

We certainly agree about this one but most lefties just can't see what you just said. Maybe some of them will be able to see through it soon enough.

You beat me to it, Ferd. Thanks since I may never have come back and someone needed to take care of that.

There were also those who only voted for Obama because he was black. Neither of these position represents the country.

You obviously don't know or don't care what a progressive is. Walker's victory was bought by 3 billionaires and a corporate media which blankets every corner of our country, taking advantage of Fox simpletons. Democracy for sale and you "patriotic" righties are okay with it.
Citizens United, darling of the right, allows foreign money into our elections and you "patriots" are against even disclosure legislation proposed by progressives. Yeah, real patriotic! Some of us know a plutocratic con job when we hear one - too bad Wisconsin voters don't.
Walker is just a part of this entire movement to install a corporate government. Is he a dupe? Possibly. So who are the real Americans here - certainly not the people who support a corporate govt.
Walker is just as un-American as the Repub party and the people who voted for him. He is a conservative con man who says to the electorate that teachers and janitors crashed the economy and must pay the price, not the billionaire Wall Street Republican base who actually did the deed.

From all the blabbering I've heard over the years from BOTH SIDES either about George Soros or corporations and campaign spending, you'd think both sides would be outraged over it, but as long as your team is able to outspend the other by astronomical levels it's all just fine.

I hate hypocrites.
A hypocrite is one who will say that the big money didn't influence their vote but they darn well know it did others.

I have never once had anyone answer to the affirmative when I ask if the money Goldman Sachs spent in any way influenced your vote. All will say no but they believe that others simply could not see through the ads because they aren't as smart.

Roughly 45% will vote for either party whether or not $0 is spent or a billion is spent. The 10% who make up the rest do pay attention.
