I am sad to hear this but happy for him and think most of us knew, down deep he would not get or take VP. His wife wants him out of politics, their old family problems will haunt them if he stays in and it is probably a very good move on his part. There are times when spouses views and feelings have to be number one.

Purdue officials announced the former White House budget director and Eli Lilly executive would be the university’s 12th president following a unanimous vote by the school’s Board of Trustees, eight of whom were appointed by Daniels. One trustee was out of the country and did not vote.
