I am sad to hear this but happy for him and think most of us knew, down deep he would not get or take VP. His wife wants him out of politics, their old family problems will haunt them if he stays in and it is probably a very good move on his part. There are times when spouses views and feelings have to be number one.

Purdue officials announced the former White House budget director and Eli Lilly executive would be the university’s 12th president following a unanimous vote by the school’s Board of Trustees, eight of whom were appointed by Daniels. One trustee was out of the country and did not vote.
I think that if I were an alum I wouldn't be too pleased by this patronage, political appointment.

Cool Mitch Daniels Out Of VP and Cabinet Pool

And they're not vetting Rubio. So that leaves Pawlenty, Portman, and I hear Dan Quayle's still available. Romney - Quayle. Now, there's an intriguing matchup.

Most of you are probably too young to recall...

It has already been clarified, yes they are vetting Rubio, but there are many others as well.

Can you explain your reasoning and at the same time clairify why you think Rubio is gay and Reagans Att gerneal was as well? You don't seem to want to explain comments you make.

Where did you hear Rubio isn't being vetted? Romney clearly said he IS vetting Rubio. That was yesterday.

And I'll bet you a million bucks Quayle knows how many states there are.

Quayle's son is in politics. Bet you didn't know that!

what news? It was reported by ABC and immediately(within 24 hours)r refuted by all other news including directly talking to Romney. This is why we all need to watch more than a couple of networks and read more than one of two blogs or publications.
