what about michelle bachmann? she actively pursued, and was granted, dual citizenship with switzerland this year ( she automatically gained swiss citizenship when she married her husband in 1978 ) only to renounce the swiss citizenship a week later. is she still eligible for POTUS?

what about those that may not even know they have multiple citizenship? many countries grant citizenship beyond one generation. you could be born in the US to US citizen parents and still have dual citizenship. would that person be considered a "natural born citizen"?

I believe that you are incorrect. Romney does NOT have dual citizenship. He could obtain dual citizenship, but that process appears to have never been sought out by his parents or himself.

With that said. Yes, Obama is eligible to be president and is a citizen.

to my knowledge romney has never sought to make official his mexican citizenship but, under mexican law, romney was born a mexican citizen.

Mexican nationality law - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"individuals born abroad if one or both of their parents was a Mexican national born in Mexican territory."
